Irritation Relaxation uses a minimal-effort logging system that captures irritants in under 5 seconds. When you experience background frustration, the app presents six category buttons: Work, Technology, People, Environment, Self, and Other. One tap logs the event with automatic timestamp and optional intensity rating from 1 to 5.
The pattern recognition engine analyzes your logged entries over time, building bubble chart visualizations that show cluster sizes and relationships between irritant categories. Larger bubbles indicate higher frequency, while connecting paths reveal co-occurring frustrations. The wellbeing score algorithm calculates a 0-100 metric based on entry frequency, intensity levels, and trend direction over the past 7 days.
Weekly trend graphs display irritation levels across each day with color-coded thresholds: yellow-green for low impact days under 20 points, yellow for moderate days between 20-60 points, and red for high frustration days exceeding 60 points. The History screen provides searchable chronological lists with category filters, allowing you to identify specific triggers like "Too many notifications" in the Technology category occurring repeatedly at 20:39.
Tap a category button to log an irritant instantly. No typing, no forms, no cognitive load. The Quick Log interface displays six color-coded categories at the bottom of your dashboard with one-tap entry creation and automatic timestamp capture.
The Pattern Map screen renders your irritation data as interactive bubble clusters. Environment 13, Work 6, Technology 11, Self 8, Other 7, and People categories scale by frequency. Small satellite bubbles show individual entries while connecting lines reveal co-occurring patterns.
Receive a real-time 0-100 wellbeing score calculated from entry frequency, intensity ratings, and trend direction. The score appears as a circular progress ring with color-coded status: yellow-green for Doing Well above 60, yellow for Moderate between 40-60, and red for Needs Attention below 40.
Track irritation levels across seven days with line graphs showing data points for each day. Yellow-green fill indicates decreasing trends while red highlights increasing frustration. The graph includes horizontal grid lines and day labels from Sat through Fri for temporal pattern recognition.
Browse all entries in chronological sections: All Time, Today, Yesterday. Each entry card displays category icon, title like "Too many notifications", timestamp such as 20:39, and three-dot menu for details. Search bar filters by irritant name or category.
Receive contextual Quick Tips like "Log irritants as they happen for more accurate patterns" without criticism or shame. The app presents data objectively with status labels such as "Some minor frustrations" rather than negative language, maintaining a supportive analytical tone.
